Thanks, This was actually very easy for me, I'm an electronics technician so I'm used to soldering IC's and SMD even smaller than this.
I use a Tenma adjustable soldering station with a fine tip. The right tools definitely help, but alot of experience with soldering is a must.

I thought about doing these for other people but it'd be too much of a hassle with shipping back and forth.

Looks good, is the bike running? if not then it looks like your needle is off a tiny bit from the 0 mark.

Thumbs up Finished!

To begin with, thanks for the write-up tycar86r. I found this write-up first on www.i-hacked.com but it was for a gsxr cluster so i was lost. I had actually planned on making mine all blue but after burning a few I ran out, so I improvised and used some white ones that I had. So now it looks like the blue fades to white and then back to blue. If you decide to do this mod, I would recomend that you play with different colors before you set on one color scheme. (If you have the nerves)

whats up guys. i just did mine. and no go lol. led 1 and 2 will not light for the life of me. and the 2 for the gear indicator. but other then that they look sick.. SO my "?" is what do i need to do to fix this. i contemplated making jumper wires from a power source to the 4 LEDs that r out and jumper grounds. but i didnt know if it was 12v going to the LED or not or what i can do.

Well I brought my volt meter home lastnight and ohmed out the leds and everything was turning up normal. But the one led had 8volts to it. So I removed the 4 that were not working. And soldered in 4 new ones and everything worked. Idk if there wired in seriese or what but once I put them all on the bored everything works great came out perfect
