Breaking in new kx450f 2014??

Hey Im new to the site, Im going to be taking out my new kx450f on tuesday and Im just curious on how to break it in and what the proper method is. Also it says after 10 hours to take back to dealer for them to check it all over and change the break in oil. Is it necessary to take it in or can I just do what they are going to do from home like change break in oil and oil filter etc.

Most people follow the factory owner's manual for engine break in.

You can do all of the work yourself, but keep receipts for the oil, the oil filter and any other new parts to keep your warranties in effect.

An alternative break in method from 1999 is linked below- this guy drag races bikes, but this is also the same method that he uses for street bikes- some parts of it are more advanced than most street riders will use:

Hi, im new to the forums. I was also wondering about breaking in a bike. How would you properly break in a two stroke with a new top end?
