Hello, I’m having trouble starting my bike. I went to start up and the fuel light came on with a full tank, started, stalled, and would not start again. Not knowing what was wrong, I replaced the gas, fuel pump, and spark plugs. After replacing these parts, the fuel light went off and started but ran rough. After 5 minutes of running, it stalled and has not started since. I have no idea what can be causing this and am hoping someone may know what is causing this to happen. Thanks for any input!
It can cause intermittent problems like non starts etc.. . Heat can cause the board to warp inside the case of the ecu .Its a known fault on these bikes . Ecu sits under rear seat near enough ontop of the stock exhaust . My bike had similar problems previously due to ecu breaking down. Also the heat of the stock exhaust warped the rear fairing above the light cluster it had got that hot . Replaced with scorpion can , second hand ecu and heat proofed the under side of where the ecu sits/ Some people move the ecu altogether . Hope this helps
Fuel filters in the tank , check thats not blocked up and listen for the pump priming as mentioned above
