I put 120k miles on my EX500, wringing its neck the whole time. They're fun bikes because their mild power delivery lets you run them to redline in every gear. Their biggest weaknesses, of course: suspension (especially the forks), and brakes. I replaced the stock rotor with a Galfer ductile rotor which made the bike significantly safer to ride in traffic. They're ridiculously easy to work on and dead reliable.
