Hey, 2011 ER6F owner here, troubleshooting help needed

Hey, I'm new to the forums, hope i'm not butchering the customs here.
I have a 2011 ER6F and was hoping i could find some help here, couldn't find anything specific so here are a few things i wanna check over:

1: Speedo occasionally goes out, shows 0mph, comes back after the bike sat for a bit. Hoping it's a loose connection, couldn't check yet, any ideas are welcome.
2: I had the FI light come on when pulling hard around 8k rpm in 4-5th gear, turning ignition on an off made the light go out and wouldn't reoccur when riding normally. It also makes awful electrical whirring noises occasionally when i start it up, but other times it's the nice smooth fuel pump ticking when you turn the ignition on. Also I have lot's of popping and gurgling under decel and getting back on throttle but i think this has to do with new DNA air filter + Full system combo without a proper tune.
3: Lot's of top end rattle, i'm thinking it's the cam chain and I'll check when i pull the bike apart tomorrow, also gonna clear injectors out and run some fuel system cleaner through the tank.
4: The speedo stays on sometimes for a second or 2 after turning the ignition key off and then fades away (and stays off).

With regard to the FI problem I've noticed a strong smell of petrol when you rev the bike even at a stand still, but not when idling, might be a pressure related leak? The area under the injectors was really gunky but it didn't look like petrol leak kind of stuff. But all affected components seem to have a cable or so running around in that general area above the front sprocket and under the injectors.

Any help would be massively appreciated I hope i can be a productive member of these forums too!

Welcome, you can try desnorculation to minimize popping under decel, have a look here for ways to do it:

Hey I don't know if you'll still notice this thread but I've done the Pair valve removal and the O2 Delete and holy cow, response below 4k has gotten insanely better... Also a lot less popping, though still considerably more than any other bikes i've had. One weird thing (I did this along with new spark plugs and clutch plates, had to reuse old springs due to the pack only coming with 4 springs instead of 5 and me not noticing prior to beginning work...) is when you pull hard, there is a noticeable flat spot between 4-5k rpm, it's as if the clutch slipped and reengaged, which is obviously not the case cos it has no problem hooking when punching the throttle in 2nd gear at 6-7k rpm and lifting the wheel a few feet in the air.

Edit: In response to my 1st and 2nd issue in the original opening post,
as for 1: Basically somehow my counter sprocket nut came loose despite tightening it a bit over spec with threadlocker and 2 tabs folded onto it and grinded into my speedo bracket and speedo, the speedo only got surface damage but i think the heat of grinding melted something inside since the issue really seemed to be coming on after riding for a while and would always work fine when starting for the first time in the day. I replaced the speedo sensor and bracket, counter sprocket nut, tab washer and ensured there is no way it's coming off again without my approval.

for 2: The reason the FI light came on was entirely because the ECU was thinking "Rpm at 7k, 4th gear, speed... speed is 0... dafuq". It would only ever come on when the speedo happened to be showing 0 and didn't affect riding whatsoever, the new speedo obviously fixed this issue too.

Thanks for the input, I am glad that you are happy with the results of the desnorculation procedure

That was a pretty sneaky problem to isolate, good job with that too!
