Ohlins thicker coil on the right, thinner wire stock `09 ER6n on the left.

They appear to be of the same length so mine were definitely much shorter.

There were designed and produced by Wirth solely for the first generation Er as they are not available for later models.

So I guess they were intended to be fitted with the spacers off.

Can't complain about the results though

I'm not sure why relative length of various springs matters. The only criteria is the rate. You're always going to cut new spacers anyway.

GSXR cartridge goodness for your SV650, EX650R, Ninja300, FZ07 etc.

Well, I didn't have to cut new spacers.


Just get rid of the old spacers altogether!

Photodude,
You do the springs and rear shock yourself or did you have a shop do it? Can you provide specifics on which springs/shock you acquired? I have a 2010 ER-6F and at 5'3" @130 the stock suspension REALLY sucks! I'm leaning towards HyperPro.
