switch design at its base may not have changed, but quality control methods have greatly improved and minimum number of cycles for a switch of that nature is still a very large number, and as I mentioned, more than most people will own the bike for.

Again, not worried in the slightest.

Joking, I think it is due to the fact that kill switch disconnects fuel pump, and somehow it can wear-out. not sure.
