Exclamation ER6N stock exhaust emission issue!!!

Hi guys. I'd like to ask :
I really want to swamp the M4 GP exhaust so that everyone could hear me coming(for safety) but i DO NOT want to remove the catalytic converter due to emission regulations and i'm an ECO guy

So, i decide to head out to the mechanic shop forge them to together (just like the BMW s1000r which has both of them).

Will it have any affect to the sound of the M4 or on the performance? since the emission flow has to continue travel through the M4...

If you leave the CAT on, you're not going to get the full benefit of the M4 as a slip on.
The note of the exhaust will be a bit deeper, as the M4 is simply a straight through, Emissions will remain pretty much the same, as the CAT will be doing its job; you will not feel/get much, if any performance gains, since the bulk of the exhaust weight you would be saving with a complete system remains with the CAT and you mat get a bit of popping on the overrun, but if it's loudness you want, you will not get the FULL DB volume with the CAT!!

Personality helps, but ATTITUDE is everything!

And do you really need all the noise to piss off other motorists and neighbors?
