Oil isn't generally consumed on acceleration. When you decelerate, the crankcase is in vacuum, drawing oil up into the airbox where it is mixed with the air/fuel mixtures injected into the cylinder...

I've developed another Agent Orange medical issue that will probably end my 5 decades of riding. Easier (and more $) selling off the good stough and selling the bike as a low-mileage stocker.
