Interesting that the new rear 180 had a slightly smaller circumference than the worn 180 Q2

My first ride I was a little disappointed I didn't have the fronts scuffed close to the edge the way I did with the 120/60, but the 70 profile felt a lot better...also good to know there's a LOT of room on that U-shaped profile for steep lean angles. You have to be haulin' to get the front chix strippers totally gone.

Keep in mind I'm on a Z750S (shitty suspension) and way undersprung for me.

Pirellis don't tend to give me the feel I like. I've tried Pirelli Angel STs and am currently on a set of race takeoff Diablo Supercorsas. They're both sticky, and I've scraped pegs even on the STs, but they don't give much feedback.

I've run the Q2s and loved them. Grip side to side with no problems whatsoever. Great feedback. Tell you when you're pushing the limit, when you're at the limit, and even if you pass it a little they're forgiving. Q3s are supposedly the upgrade, so I may be upgrading to those when these Supercorsas are done.

I know a lot of people love the Battleaxs, but have noticed in doing tons of tire changes that most people who love them tend to leave a decently wide strip down either side. My riding buddies who have ridden them tended to hate them as they stepped out on my friends earlier than most other tires. Personal experience and your mileage may vary, but that's my experience with it.

I have dual compound battlax tires and use it for commuting and riding local roads so I use the center mostly. Thing with the battlax tires is they're cheaper then many of the other brands mentioned. I usually get around 8k out of them so for the price and my purposes they're fine. The battlax-016 im using now cost less than $200 for the set so I can't complain.

Yeah don't get me wrong, people tend to love them, but I have no experience on them.

Personally I wouldn't recommend Pilot Road 2s on you to save my life. I couldn't get them to corner worth a half a damn, much less a full one.

For the money, I go Michelin. Used Dunlop, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Continental, Avon, etc. For the price and performance, I stick with Michelin using Pilot powers on the gixxer, and Pilot Roads on the Ninja.

Of your choices mentioned? Pirelli.

All tires have improved dramatically over the last few years, tough to find a bad tire.

Those Q3's though, fuck they're like gum balls...I mean I'm one of those twitchy riders in corners...all kinds of stupid mistakes I make...even when other bikes come flying around from the opposite direction I'll occasionally twitch like a dumb-ass. These tires ignore my stupid imputs with impunity and keep on a diggin'...can't say that for some other tires I've been on.

Out of the options that you have listed, I would probably go with the Bridgestone Battlax.

With that being said, if it were my personal choice, I would go with the Michelin Pilot Power 3 tires. In my opinion, they are that best all around sportbike street motorcycle tire that money can buy at the moment!
