on my 98 its a 27mm socket... slightly deeper one if you can find it
better to use single hex rather than double hex...
helps if you have a rattle gun too!
i didnt and mine was on so tight i ended up using a 4 foot breaker bar with the 27mm socket... trick is to have two people, one person leans against the breaker bar while the other holds the socket down (so it doesnt slip off the nut) whilst pounding the breaker bar about 15" up from the socket with a dead blow hammer [B)]
If you do not have an air gun, borrow one. It takes seconds with an air gun. You will be working all day to get it off without one and can hurt yourself.
