I'm not sure if I'm doing this right or not lol. I have an 02 zx6r that I turned into a streetfighter, all I did was switch the ram air intake to come thru the frame holes and put 2 holes in the air box to the original ram intake ports. I started it up last night and it took a while to start up, and it dies if I rip it. I got it up to 7500 rpms but it took a long time to get there. It's been sitting naked for about 5 months... Do I need a tune up or did I really screw something up? I did exactly what someone on YouTube did with a zx9r...

I drained it when I took the tank off to change the air flow, so I just put about 3/4 of a gallon in. Is it common to have that problem after letting it sit for a few months? Cus the way I understand it I didn't change how the air flow works just the way it comes in
