I'll make a long story short. Its an 03 zx6r. I've had it since 06. The cam position sensor was leaking on the bike. I always wanted a black frame and wheels, so instead of just fixing the $50 part, I decided to tear the whole bike down to get stuff powdercoated and painted as well as add some go fast parts. The main power adder was from putting an 06 head and cams on the 03 motor. I tore it all down last September, worked on it here and there in the winter, and then the last two months, I put about $6000 into it and had the powdercoating and paint done. I put it back together in a week. 200 miles on it, and then there was carnage. It was only back together for two days. Sucks but here are all the pics from start to finish. RIP "SIK36"

- Chopped Yoshi TRS exhaust

What happened:

- Shim Bucket cracked in half
- Shim fell out
- Both intake valves broke
- Piston melted/cracked
- Rod broke
- Cracked the case from the starter to the oil pan
- Oil poured onto the headers and started the fire

It does suck, but I've gotta move on. I thought I'd share my bike's timeline with you guys. Maybe give you some ideas on some stuff. I don't know. I think I'm going to be picking up a mv agusta f3 675 and do some things to it (SIK75 lol). Don't worry, I'll still have green blood with my 636 track bike. I might build up a 03 636 stunt bike to mess around on. I won't let this setback stop my future builds

that bike was sweet before you modded it, and nice job with the pictures and everything!
custom rotors!!! thats awesome

good shit man, sorry about whatever happened...insurance?

I describe it all on page one sir. Thanks for the compliments though.

As for the F3 800, I don't know if I can verify spending $20 grand for a bike. The 675 can be had for $12-14,000
