As far as the fender eliminator, I made my own. You can check out my pics in the old posts or at my site http://www.geocities.com/skiv_here/6r.html
There is also instructions on how to remove your fender. If you go with the Lockhart Phillips flush mounts on the front (like everyone else) go with the small, not the mini. When you make the eliminator, you will need to make tabs to mount the signals. There are a few places that make the kits, but you are looking at $50 to $125 for them, depending if you want to spend that much. I also painted my hugger myself. /forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3711

I really enjoy it and now that it can hold up decent to a wreck, I can work on my wheelies
