Any one know if the 03 zx6r brakes can be retrofitted onto a 02 zx6r
(i know the bikes are bith very different, but the rear brake techonolgy should be pretty simliar....)

Pretty sure the front brakes are a no go. The rears might be a different story. Check the microfiche at buykawasaki.com and compare part numbers. Rember, the part # is the one off the table not off the diagram.

Nope... even if as CDN says you went with the forks off an '03 as well. Those radially mounted calipers are mounted to the lower portion of the tubes. There's no way to do this on your '02 forks. And now for the next problem, the inverted tubes of the '03 won't likely fit in your triple clamps due to the bigger diameter. And due to the redesigned air intake duct that runs through the frame down into the box, you likely won't be able to use the '03 head on the '02 frame. Need any more problems??? Your engine and subframe won't mount into the '03 frame...

You might be further ahead trading up to an '03... ;)
