Just got a set of vortex adjustables at Mid O for my 06 636. It has 2 shift rods. which one do I use if I want gp shift? Do I need to bend it? On my 01 r6 I had to buy a shift rod from woodcraft that had a kink in it to accomidate.

I saw the thread listed here:

but that dealt with stock rearsets, I would think I'd be able to do it without stacking washers if I have aftermarket rearsets

If I remember right, it was the shorter one. Also check out the How-to section. Damn good write up in there that will answer almost any question you might have.

you shouldnt have to bend it. that why it came with 2 rods, one for regular shifting and one for gp shifting.

oh, the literature that came with the rearsets said that was just to accomodate different rearset positions, as they are fully adjustable
