Does anyone know if you have to install a switch so you can turn the HID's on and off because someone told me that you can't start the lights up right away as most bikes if not all have day time running lights which turn on as soon as the bike starts. Does anyone have them on there bike and can someone help me.

It's not that you can't turn them on right away. It's just that they take a couple of seconds to come to their full brightness. When you flip the switch, the lights come on looking very blue and gradually turn whiter and whiter as xenon warms up.

you want them to warm up with the bike, HID provide maximum effeciancy once they are fully
warmed up.. on a 05 your gonna have to put it in the highbeam, or remove the cover plate to put it in
the low beam, but no one can ever say " i didnt see you"

a cop pulled me over to say i scared the crap out of him, he thought a plane was landing behind him it was so bright:D
