The bike has 9k miles on it. It sat for 6 months.(it was running fine before being parked).
I only could get it to start on either. It would not rev , etc. I noticed the left cylinders exh temp was , per my heat gun, about 176, but the left was 520.
I assumed the left carb was clogged, so I removed the carbs and cleaned them throughly. But the bike will still not hardly run. Both exh pipes are of equal temp. But if you accelerate it will die. It spits and coughs out of the carbs. I can almost full cover the left carb inlet w/my hand and it will continue to idle. If I try that on the right one, it will immediately die.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

If the Carbs are clean and fueling is not the issue which it would appear on the surface not to be.
Replace the spark plugs as they could be breaking down under load. Then valve clearances need to be checked and valve timing. If this is all ok then its time to change the coils.
This could be moisture ingress where the bike has been sat.
