Looked everywhere trying to find paint codes for a 1986 Ninja 600 - Colorite and touch up direct dont have have the code on their sites.....anyone by chance have the codes
Have you tried just contacting Kawasaki about the color codes? While the motorcycle is rather old, I'd think they'd still have those records and be willing to look them up, especially since it's good for the brand to have ones of that vintage looking good. It's certainly safer than hoping somebody around here has the right code.

If that doesn't work, you might have to take it to a professional to get a color match. I'm sure somebody has the appropriate tools to identify the correct color based upon the paint on the bike. Due to the apparent lack of fading, that's likely less important than normal. But, with a more faded paint job that would likely give a better match.

Try this: https://www.kawasaki.com/Contact/Online/ . I'm seriously considering doing a restore job on an early '80s Kawi 440, and I'm likely to run into the same problem. At least if I decide to go with the stock color.

There's equipment out there than can be used to match not just the color, but the gloss as well. It's too expensive to buy just for one project, but if you look around, there might be a paintshop that has the gear and could do the painting for you. That's probably going to be the most expensive route, but it would also likely give the best match other than doing a complete repainting. They should also be able to accurately measure the paint color and give you the code.
