Hi!
Just picked up an old (1995) but new (1500kms) ZX6R. Any ideas for modifications to improve it?
I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can stick 17 inch wheels on it, or if there are any tyre suggestions (the stock Dunflops SUCK) that will help with the twitchiness in bumpy corners?
Thanks!!
Nicky

Post in the ZX6 - Old School section, as there are quite a few owners of the 95-97 ZX6R. I replaced the stock Dunlop's with a set of the new Dunlop Qualifiers. They are much better. You could also go the Michelin Pilot Power route and be very happy too. In addition, the bumpy corner issue might be alleviated with some adjustments in the suspension settings. Since you just got the bike, you might want to adjust the settings for your type of riding and body weight. (Check the sag too)
