Ok my first post here, I am fitting a new clutch to my 2003 636 B1 the torque on the clutch spring bolts is very low, 8.8 nm seem to be very low, anyone have problems with low torque or is it best to just nip them up a little bit more. If any body has fitted a clutch and had no problems I would be happy to here about it Thanks

No issue with 8.8 nm and I've fitted more than a handfull ;)
What I would advise you check are the Clutch Sub Hub Bolts for Torque.
I always pop them out and apply some Non Permanent thread lock (Loctite 243) and Torque them back in (25nm) then your good to instal and Torque the Clutch Spring Bolts up.

Thanks for the response the 636 does not have clutch sub hub bolts just 4 long bolts., i think it is the 600 that has sub hub bolts and 5 spring bolts, and they are torqued to 8.8 nm. Anyway thanks for Information
