i recently just replaced my brake master cylinder and brake pads. Today at Infineon Raceway on my second lap (still warming up) my front tire locked up and i couldnt even pull in the break lever at all! I dont know if it might be the calipers with a mal function in the pistons or the master cylinder. anyone have any suggestions? thanks

too much fluid in the reservoir? If you over fill it, it'll heat up. If it heats up, it expands. If it expands, it has no where to go, so locks the system up. Bleed some out. Also double check there's no kinks or sharp bends in the lines

Check the master cylinder as well, I had one recently that has dirt in the master causing the master to stay in the pumped position. Also make sure the push rod in the master is assembled properly as my friends brand new gsxr600 had one installed from the factory incorrectly adn was locking the brakes up just like you are desribing.

If you mixed DOT 5 fluid in then you may have a problem with swelled seals.
