I bought a bike that has been sitting outside for about 6 years. I wanted a little project to work on for the time being. When I bought it it needed a new transmission. I put a brand new transmission in it. It ran just fine for 5 minutes when I was testing it out. And then the next day I was going to work and it died on me and wont start. It will crank over but wont fire up. I put new plugs and coils in it and still nothing

I need help

You're missing a ton of info for us to help you.

Did you:
Drain and replace the fuel
replace the battery
clean or replace the air filter

A bike needs fuel air and spark to run. All things being equal, one of the three is not getting there. Replacing the coils seems excessive for a first step.
