I have a 2008 zx10r that I bought to chase the guy who stole my 2005 zx10r because police wouldn’t do shit. 2005 is now back in my possession after he crashed into a house.

Literally the same week I recovered the 2005 and ready to move out of that dump of hartford county, the 2008 sputtered to a stall on highway and felt like a chain slipping. It would not restart. After trucking it home, I have a knocking noise on my 2008 ZX10R. One guy I had look at the bike running said it is the top end, another the bottom end. I figured I would start with what I know is a problem area on these bikes.

Is the sub clutch hub supposed to have play between the clutch hub? Please check out the video.

that is normal. its the slack from the slipper ramp. Although the torque springs might be weak, cheap and easy to replace.
