I'm looking to improve the feel of the brakes on the 636.
What pads are most of you running?
I've tried ferodo CP911 & hate them. Not a big fan of EBC HH either.
Anyone try SBS or DP?

I saw Jim before his site got shut down said a new master cylinder isn't worth it.

I changed the brake lines to Galfer SS lines, and changed to CRG levers, and once the stock pads were "broken in", they work just fine for me. Lots of stopping power and good feedback. IMHO.

I dont mind the stopping power of the stock pads, its just that they lack feel IMO.
I can feel the bike slowing down, but there isn't much feel for modulation in braking force. It really sounds like a master cylinder problem, but other have tried newer solutions & found it to be a waste of money.

Its funny how I hate Honda brakes, but the harder you pull that lever the more you slow down. They have so much feel in them. Perhaps, i'll just grab a F4 master cylinder on Ebay & try that. Its probally the bore of the master cylinder.
