well i came across a smoking deal on a full 05-06 636 front end and was wondering if anyone has done this swap. i'm talking about forks, triples (would have the zx7 stem pressed into the 636 lower triple and use zx7 bearings) brakes and wheels front and back. i know the front end wouldn't be an issue but how off is the rear 636 wheel from fitting in the zx7 swinger? something some spacers could easily fix? this would be going into a 2001 zx7.

Why would you want to do this swap? The zx7r front end is sooooo good!! I would rather get ohlins springs and do a good overhall.....

+1 You will more than likely need to swap the springs anyway to compesate for the added weight of the 7. The radial front brakes would be the only advantage I can see......and if you get steel lines and good pads you'll be right where you need to be!
