I would like some comments from people on whether they changed their rear preload from stock, what your settings are and how it feels for the better.

I found that I am getting bucked off (I weigh 190lbs) on harsh transitions. I have tried serveral settings, but never changed the rear preload.

Also, any tips on changing the rear preload without damaging the collar?

cheers, [}:)]

i weigh about 185 - 190 and have my sag set to 35mm front and 32mm rear... works for me, its compliant on rougher roads and handles pretty well. you can pick up a spanard wrench from your dealer to turn the collar without damaging it...if you do a search on setting sag you should find a bit of info on how to do with a lil help from some friends

At 190 lbs, you probably won't be able to set the front sag properly. I also weight 190 and had to go with aftermarket springs (0.95 springs from Dan Kyle) to set the front sag correctly. The rear wasn't a problem.

Go to the dealer and buy the tool.
