I am new to modifying sportbikes and was wondering if you all could offer some help. I have a 98 ZX6R with a full muzzy system, lowering links and jet kit. I want to keep the bike street legal but I want to smoke some gsxrs (im sick of seeing them instead of kawasakis). I know that nothing is impossible but that doesnt make it easy. Do any of you know where I could find some sort of a big bore kit for the motor, extended swingarm and anything else that would help acceleration? I am considering using nitrous oxide. I understand that it is different on a sportbike in a big way but I do have experience with it on cars and am fully aware that building the bottom end is neccesary. I have been to muzzy's site but pretty much all I see is stuff for the 12R. Any info would be useful. Thank You.

Hey cool thank you for the replies. I also received some emails as well. I will try to find a reputable builder for the internal work until I learn more about the motor.

Thank you for your input everyone. I have to ask why nitrous isnt a good idea on a 600 that is built? I figure if I keep a reasonable compression ratio and instead of advancing igntion retard it, things should be fine right?
