My zx6r wen i go down from 2nd to 1st some times it dose not want to go in. It feels like the lever gouse down but it just dose not go in.
It dose not feel like a fuck you tranny couse i fuck my 1st gear on my 929 and it dose not feel like this.

maybe you should spend some more time paying attention to 1st gear instead of just fucking it. you know, really get to know it! quit rushing things and let it happen smoothly...it sounds as if maybe you're searching for the g spot, but hitting the N instead

on a side note, i've never had any trouble with it, but a friend had an issue w/ 1st on his '02. he replaced the plates and had no trouble afterwards. might just be the end of the gear? a 929 and a 636 are entirely different animals, tough to compare transmissions! is it just sliding into neutral w/o the light going on? i know mine does that from time to time. after a while, you just know the sound and have a feel for it, no need to concern yourself w/ whether the light appears or not
