Really. That thing looks kind of retarded. The CF look would just make the reservoir more noticeable and you'd constantly have people asking you "what the hell is that?!" I'd rather black it out with an old cut up bicycle tire than tell anyone I was dumb enough to pay $50 for what looks like a piece of contact paper you line your silverware drawer with. :angry7:

I just went to the craft store bought a sheet of black foam rubber sheets. I cut a 1 " strip the length needed to wrap around and put in a hole in each end for the bolt. Looks good and hides the white. It will slip down if I need to check the reservior. look great and used about 1/10th of a 99 cent sheet of Black. So 10 cents it is done. I like the innertube idea but we are out of old innertubes.
I want to use some neoprene (it will be stonger than the foam)
but have to go to a real fabric place for that or surf shop for scraps.

Nice, I like the neoprene idea. I think I may have some old diving boots around.

:Laughing rolling: Nice one.

Yeah, definitely wouldn't. Like I mentioned in the previous thread, you can't check your fluid levels with that shroud aha.
Yeah, that wouldn't make sense if you couldn't see your levels, but i think in the picture, it is open in the back? I would probably pay $25 for it if they sold it here, but $50 i don't know. rather use it for something else. Especially when money is tight these days

Yes we should market them as Brake Reservior "Cozys"

j/k :)

back to the cf cover. it seems like it could be brittle. It looked really thin.
and they should have incorporated a window into it to check fluids.
