AAARRRGH !!! CRANK CASE IS CRACKED ! HELP !!

So I finally get her put together with a new motor and when I go to fire her up, I discover a crack on either side of the oil pressure sensor on the crankcase.... the crack is only about a quarter to half an inch long and only extends as far in as the section of aluminum extends out for the sending unit.

WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

get it welded and forget the sending unit ?
weld it and retap the same location
weld it and retap an alternate location ?

ok.. so I got it welded to no avail... it was a lousy job though...
I have since jb welded it and it seems good to go but now the clutch cover and oil pan leaks..... GEEEEZ !!!

3 cheers for jb weld though..
