Hi Guys,

I posted some time back about my bike not starting. I though the issue was the fuel pump but after replacing it, the problem still persists.

Below is the video of an issue I'm having (not my video but exact same problem):

The bike does this noise and when I put the ignition on, to prime, try to start it, it turns over but does not fire. The FI light comes on. We checked that the pump does not squirt fuel but I know it's 100% working.

Things I tried already:

-New pump
-New throttle body assembly with a working throttle body actuator
-Cleaning the connections everywhere
-Checking the tip sensor for damage

I am absolutely lost with this problem and don't know what to try next. I'd like to avoid taking it to a mechanic as I suspect the bill will be crazy high. Please help me out here..

Thanks

I managed to fix this problem. First of all, the noise from the throttle bodies is normal. I guess I never paid attention to it because the pump was the main noisemaker. Anyway, after trying everything else, I looked in the ignition barrel. There was a loose wire in there that broke off from the solder and wasn't making contact. After soldering that, the bike works like a charm!
