I decided to top off my coolant last night but ended up making more of a mess then progress. [V]
My coolant level dropped to the low line but the leak has been fixed. (loose hose under the tank at the thermostat)

when adding coolant, are you supposed to add at the white tank under the seat? when i tried to funnel at the radiator it just spilled over

Run the bike to full operating temp until the fan goes on a few times. Turn it off and let it cool all the way down. Check the level in the overflow tank on the left side of the bike. If it is below the low level, add some at the catch tank. Don't fill it up too much as it will heat a nd overflow. Check the level after the next few rides and adjust accordingly.
