So I finally got my leathers and boots and the shifter is wayyyy too low, I have to cram my foot underneath it. How do I raise it up?

loosen the the jam nuts and twist the rod accordingly. Thighten back up the jam nuts. One of them is a left hand thread, I think it is the one closest to the tranny.
