in the owners manual under air filter cleaning it recommends using a high flash point sovlent. what is the best thing to use. also howabout oiling it when ur done

A high flash point solvent is something like Varsol which is a trade name for mineral spirits. The reason they recommend a high flash point solvent is so you won't blow yourself up. Gasoline works better . . . but I wouldn't recommend you smoke while doing it. An easy way to get the oil evenly in the filter is to pour some 10w40 oil in some clean solvent and soak the filter, remove it and let the solvent evaporate.

I just cleaned mine with a little degreaser and water. I blew it dry with an air compressor and let it sit for about three days before I oiled it back up and put it back in. Seemed to work just fine.
