Since you want to get a slip on go with Micron for looks. Akrapovic for a full system, Microns header pipes/mids have too many weld bands and springs, which I think looks ugly IMO. They both are good quality and sound good. Akrapovic systems make more HP than Micron. I've been following the serpent headers since day one, but it will be a while before they are ported to the 6R. Reason being is COST. That which goes towards the R&D. Micron claims that hp is made in the headers not necessarily in the can, words from them. The silencer is nothing more than just that... to quiet the sound. HP generally made from a slip on is more than likely from re-jet. I was debating on Micron or Muzzy. I went with Muzzy full system and Ivans Jet kit because I wanted looks and power, otherwise I like the colored annodized cans from Micron.
