Damn, I don't really believe myself how I managed to get green 250R! The guy that works at service section at the dealership where I got my 250R said they sold the last one for 6,800 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I am sorry to hear that everyone that is outta luck for to get 250R...Let me ask ya all one question...why dying for those 08+ ninja 250R when there are another great beginnier bikes such as GSX-650F, older Ninja 250R, Ninja 650R, or the GS500F???

Dont forget the Busa man, thats a great bike to learn on.

Well we are all screwed. I just got off the phone with the International Motorcycle Federation and they confirmed that Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha are entering the 250 battle with new bikes this year. They each are coming out with a US legal 2 stroke 250 model that has 45 HP, gets 80 MPG, with 0 TO 60 in the 4 second range and a top speed of approx. 145 MPH. It will have full fairing, fully adjustable rear and front suspension (up side down front forks) and priced in the $4500 range. They told me that comparing the Kawi 250 to any of these new bikes is like comparing a race bike to a lawn mower. Each manufacturer has seen the success of Kawi's 250 and took a look at updating older model 250s they have sold in the past and updating them to meet US requirements. By the time the other motorcycle companies start bringing in their new 250s you will be able to buy a Kawi 250 for a discount price since it won't be able to compete with the other manufacturers new 250s.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I'm going to sell mine as fast as I can and get a real (liter) bike.
