Authorities have identified two men killed in a double fatal crash Thursday morning on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

Sixty-year-old Leroy Tyler of Washington was driving a Mitsubishi Laser in the crash before he was killed. Forty-eight-year-old Ronald Wayne Meader of Severn was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he was killed.

U.S. Park Police say another person was injured in the crash, but police haven't released their identity.

The multi-vehicle crash Thursday morning occurred when a sedan crossed the median into the southbound lanes shortly after 5 a.m. near Powder Mill Road. Several vehicles, including the motorcycle, were involved in the accident.

The parkway was shut down until about 10:30 a.m.

RIP

I used to use that road every other week when I flew in and out of BWI. When an accident happens there traffic is backup for a while.
