Just joined the board, pick up my new bike tomarrow, 02 6r.

Looking for sliders, read the FAQ, anyone find anything other then RG and Intutive?

Anyone have success with the Intutive Slider?

I'm not new to bikes but am farely new to sportbikes, so by sliders do you mean frame savers? if so I put a set of them from LP on my '02.

Not sure if this helps or not but hey what the hell.

It's days like this I wish I still did drugs!

I have Pro-tek Sliders on my 02' They fit well and extend out enough to give my fairings pretty good protection. /pics/BigRedrightfront.jpgI don't like the Intuitive ones as they resemble lil knobs and I don't know how much good that would do if I low sided the bike. I also have the Pro-tek handlebar sliders and between the 2 it does a pretty good job. (I dropped my bike a couple of times when I very first got it.. heheh. The first was 3 hours into it! <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>

Check out www.parts411.com if you need to find a place to get them

I got the intuitive and yea, they are little and I don't realy care for them. They were overpriced to boot too. I am planning on making my own this next time. I will have to look into different types of plastic and what not but they should be easy to make with a dremel tool.
