I just ordered midland radio xtc-200 and I'm wondering where you guys think is the best place to mount it to catch some good footage. I'm thinking that a helmet mount would be able to catch the most interesting shots, but I'd like to hear your opinions.

BTW, the xtc-200 just came out on june 1st so I haven't seen any reviews yet, but for $123 and 720p video plus mounts, it seems like a sweet deal. I'll post up my 2 cents on it once I take it for a spin.

it depends on what kind of footage your trying to capture

If you just want to record your ride, helmet would be fine. Might get a little noise from the wind.

Behind the windscreen is another option.

Or on the back faring is good too, and that will allow you to see the lean angles a little better.
