Best sounding exhaust

Opinions on what brand sounds the best. I like the looks of the micron but never heard it.

How do you define what sounds the "best"???

What do you like? Deep grunty, high whiny, smooth, loud, or what?

I've had a Yosh and a D&D on mine and the D&D blows the Yosh away in sound quality. More grumble down low, and past about 8k it literaly screams!

Bottom line: D&D makes a ZX6R sound really angry.

I too have a D&D and it sure makes my zx-6r scream...i love the pipes b/c it alerts road cagers. The D&D are know for their slogan "no hype...just killer pipes" Go with the D&D!!!!!!!!![}:)]

I have a full Muzzy exhaust on my zx6r, and I can't get enough of that sound, especially when I'm on the highway getting on it hard. :D

Can anyone tell me any info on how a SATO exhaust sounds?? Anyone have one. I did much research and found that the SATO exhaust is actually the best of the best even better in HP gains (where it counts) then akropovic. But I dont know anyone with a Sato, never even seen one on a bike around town. Why arent the a common pipe?
DJ... you gotta have some info on this one, Knowing you we know you did some EXTENSIVE research before buying your akro.

Sorry Tommy, limited info on Sato exhausts unfortunately... haven't heard anything bad about 'em yet anyway...

SATOs website is a really bad site, almost no info at all and not any close up pics. Akropovic has a sweet site though.

I got a D&D carbon fiber on mine over the winter. Now that the weather is better I've been riding alot and I just love the sound. Its nice at the low rpm's but hit 6 and up it just sings.

Old enough to know better...young enough not to care.
