It's not just about how big the scoop is, air box and throttle body, etc. are very important. Ram air will give you a few more HP at high speed, no way to beat R1 with just that. You may consider a turbo 
if all you want is to beat that R1. Not sure that it can be done without some major engine work. Too much boost and the engine goes “BOOM!!!”
I'm with eltorito, get a Busa! No replacement for displacement.
