I have a 06 zx6r with 3,280 miles and today i was driving and pulled up to the light and took off and the bike took off ok up to 7.6k and then didnt gain ne so i shifted and same storie again 6th gear topped off at 74mph.. Idles good starts fine fi light is on what do you think is the problem and will the waranty cover it.. Thanks (i searched and didnt fine ne thing)

Heck yea the warranty will cover that, it better. Take it in tommorow first thing.

with the FI light on it means the ECU has determined something is wrong, and therefore has gone into "limp mode" only allowing you to get it to rev to 8k. Get it back to your dealer asap. Try and read the fault code yourself but dont reset it.

I wouldn't even mess around with trying to get the code just get it to the dealer.
