Hello All,

I just got my baby back from the shop (had a nasty off Oct. 28th.) and the guy was kind enough to hook me up w/a carbon yoshi pipe for my troubles. The bike looks, idles and sounds beautiful!

However - once I hit 35 mph in any gear the bike stutters, acting like it's about to run out of gas. I can't get above 45 mph at all. The gas tank is new and I checked the lines under the seat and they are not kinked as far as I can see. Does anybody know what this possibly can be? I asked the repair guy if the carbs might have been knocked out of sync from the accident and he says that it can't possibly be. He is happy to take a look at it but tomorrow but I hope someone can shed light on this as it sucks to have her back and acting like this! Thanks in advance for any help, I ain't back in action until the bike is!

I dunno - but this sounds a TON like what happens with MY bike. If you do get this figured out, do let me know. I am limited to 50 with mine. If I really get on the throttle, it will kind of "jump" or what ever you want to call, kind of weird. I have had my carbs off the bike and looked at them too and all seems to be well in there. I will let everyone know once I find what may be the issue with mine too!;)

PROBLEM FIXED!

I could not wait and left work early to bring it to the shop before it closed. The owner found out it was a hose that he forgot to connect that controls the air mixture to the carb float bowls! It is located on the right side of the frame's steering head and is held in place by one of those "pinch clips". Easy fix - I'm back in action!!!

;)[:0]You are talking about the hose that is like the size of maybe a quater or a bit smaller, goes right under the bottom right side of the carbs? unfortunately....mine is hookd up to the carbs....but I dunno about the other end. Where does the other end go to? Maybe it is just cracked too.....I hope it is something that easy!!! I want my TOYZ back!!!![:p][}:)]:D
