Don't try to do your own forks unless you know what your doing.IF you try to sand the gold off the tubes,You'll for sure get them out of round and then you might as well throw them in the trash and get some new ones!!!!

actuly they are polished not chromed.My buddy and I did all this at his shop.he has been polishing bikes for years up in Chicago.

to get the forks done it would cost about $200 and for the rims it could very depending on how bad your wheels are pitted but anywhere from $400 to $500 bucks if you want it done let me know I can have it done for you.
