I was wondering this as well. I wouldn't keep riding and talking on the phone, but I would atleast be able to tell if someone was calling. I have to be on call for work for a week at a time and I would like to be able to go out and ride after work when I am on call.

I'm on call as well at times.I put my phone in my front pocket on vibe. and pull over and check the phone when i fell it go off.

The circumstances that I have for on call is I have to answer on the first call or it gets escalated. I typically can't feel my phone vibrate when I am riding. Just looking for a solution, but that one seems fairly expensive.

You should check into one of these, they work pretty good. I have talked to my freind on the phone while he was riding. It isn't crystal clear but you can hear/understand everything. The bike to bike part works pretty good too.

i have talked on my bluetooth 2 to 4 times to see if it workd...it does..but u gotta kinda speak loud so they can hear u...it works...but i prolly wont do it on a regular basis

Too big of a distraction for me. I only just recently started doing it in the car and I'm still iffy on that.

When I'm riding I just always keep my cell on vibrate and if I'm lucky I'll feel it going off and pull somewhere to see if it was anyone important. It never is.

what you hear in the helmet is what the person on the other end of the phone will be hearing while you talk to them.

I use a wired ear bud for gps but that is it do not like the distraction while riding.

I also was thinking about this... but i feel like i have way too much road noise and wind noise in my helmet so if thats what I'm hearing i can only imagine what the person on the receiving end is going to hear

it seems like it would be hard to get the helmet on with the ear piece and also on most of them dont u have to push a button on the ear piece for the phone to connect. u cant push the button while riding.

I have the chatterbox bluetooth version and it works great. I've had several phone calls on it, and it works perfect. Especially when I had to meet someone somewhere and they would call me while i'm on my way and they tell me we're meeting somewhere else.

I have the h9 but do not use it to talk on the bike, just to sync to the bluetooth transmitter that I have hooked to the headphone port on my passport escort. That way I do not need to see it, and can personally hear the warnings without anyone else hearing it.

Pretty slick setup if I do say so myself!

yeah I dont want something that I would using for a long period of time... I just wanna be able to pick up a phone call and tell them im on my way or something... but for $200 forget it.

hold on. so you have your h9 motorola bluetooth connected to ur radar detector and it will warn you every time it beeps.... it could be pretty cool. I wish my valentine one had built-in bluetooth. what passport do you own?
