Title says it all gentlemen. So, there is a shop near me (very credible one), that has a 3m or mm (I forget how many m’s) bore casing for a 636. How much would something like this run me? What would my CCs look like? Horsepower numbers? I could ask them the following business day but I don’t want to wait. My main concern would be bang for buck.
Tons of questions to be asked, like the ones above. Would I need bigger brakes? From what they did tell me, a 3 bore for this bike would make it fucking insane. Like a major sleeper when racing 1000s. Not that I’d gap, but I’d definitely keep up. So, if anyone has done this, or has done extensive research on this, please fill me in on what you know about it.
For reference, this would be for a 2020+ model.

I'm not sure I follow. Are you saying they have a bare block thats bored out or an assembled motor with bigger bores. In either case I don't think they're saying it's bored 3mm over. That would be ~.120" which is way more than an automotive block (and I'm sure a motorcycle block) would be allowed to be bored without destroying the sleeves. In the automotive world blocks are bored in thousandthsof an inch. So .030" or thirty thousanths bigger in diameter. I'm not familiar enough with motorcycle blocks to say whether .030" is feasible.

In any case, I would not not expect a notable power boost from a bored out motor.
