As you may or may not remember I laid my bike down...(pretty softly) all the really needed to be replaced was the right side footpeg and footbrake lever.

so I bought the part that was needed and it fit on fine but when I got on in nuetral the rear brake was engaged... without me pressing my footdown on the brake.... anybody know possible reasons why???

P.S. If you need pictures I can take them.

i assume youre talking about the actual pads on the rotor and not just the brake light....just make sure that that the lever moves up and down freely and that it comes all the way back up on its own (spring)...

then check the rear brake cylinder and make sure that the piston is moving freely inside and finally take off the caliper and make sure that the pistons inside of that move...remember you will have to open the bleeder screw to push the pistons back in....

basically just start at the pedal and work your way back....good luck...
