On my 2000 kx250 my front brakes feel soft, and was wondering if can give any suggestions? Just got new pads.

Bleed the brakes first. If they're still soft, change the fluid completely - use NEW, UNOPENED fluid as specified in your manual. DON'T mix types. The brake lines are the next thing to inspect, as Nevada said. Finally, if all else fails, it may be the master cylinder, but that's not as common. Odds are bleeding/flushing will cure the problem.

Well tooks some time but brakes have flushed. I also put new rubber on the push rod, maybe a lil better now. It will get me through this weekend. Maybe my line is shot. thanks for the info. Anymore more suggestion.

You can try to adjust the lever to compensate a little. Other than what was already mentioned, you would need to rebuild the master cylinder. You can find the parts at Motosport or Bike Bandit using the microfiche.
