If you are going to follow the factory recommendations just relax and enjoy it. Stay in town and off the freeways that way you are constantly varying rpm. I think it took me about a day to put in 500 miles the last time I got a bike.

The other alternative is the Mototune method . . . breakin over in about 25 miles.

I just bought my 2003 red zx6r....the break in is killing me....im in the first stage of break in 0-500 miles 4000 rpm max (45mph...is there any other way to do it???
